Enactus Memorial

Enactus Memorial is a student-run non-profit organization based out of Memorial University of Newfoundland.

We run projects that impact the economy by improving the standard of living and quality of life of the people we work with every day through our projects. We strive to create sustainable and scalable social, economic, and environmental impact.

Extra Details: We’re launching a new project with local social enterprise partners Choices for Youth and NL Correctional Facilities to recycle Wood that would otherwise end up in the landfill to create furniture products. We’re looking to use the excess Wood that is not usable into chips/pellets to create a zero-waste process. Currently there is no Wood recycling policy or programming in the province of NL so we’re looking to lead the charge to change this.
