SOIL FORESTRY CONSULTING

Soil & Forestry Consulting, based in Edmonton, Alberta, operates an environmental consulting service across Alberta, as well as in Saskatchewan and northeastern British Columbia.

We re-opened our business in October 2015 but previously operated from 1994 to 2003.

Soil & Forestry Consulting works for and/or with a variety of clients, including: farmers, forestry companies, larger environmental or engineering consultants, government departments, and commercial and/or industrial firms.

We apply our core knowledge of soils, vegetation, water and terrain to assist our clients in meeting their objectives.

We do:

Irrigation assessments;
Range health assessments;
Environmental site assessments (Phase I or II);
Remediation of contaminated sites;
Reclamation of land disturbed for borrow pits, highway and bridge up-grades, mining, pipeline installation, or other commercial or industrial activities;
Ecological land classification, pre/post-harvest silvicultural prescriptions, timber cruising or permanent sample plots for forested lands; and
Freelance writing and editing.
