Since 2008, Bionera has been providing commercially-ready, willow crop solutions to treat wastewater, improve soil conditions, prevent soil erosion, and utilize biosolids, while creating biomass that can be used to generate heat and electricity.

Short-rotation willows crops have been used in Europe for 40 years.  In North America, Bionera is the leader in establishing commercial-scale willow plantations, with projects in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Oregon.
