Opened in April 2017, the GR Green Center is a family owned and operated recycling facility located north east of Yorkton right outside of the Yorkton City Landfill.

We have set up and designed our permanent site to follow all the Ministry of Saskatchewan guidelines. The focus of this facility is to reduce the negative environmental impact of dumping used construction materials into landfills.

These materials include clean Wood, Concrete, Asphalt & Asphalt shingles.

To promote construction material debris — recycling, we offer companies and residents a lower price rate per metric ton than the City of Yorkton Landfill.

This we hope will encourage them to consider separating these materials from their waste, so they can be recycled. This rate remains the same no matter the location of where the material is being brought from. Our tipping fees over the scale will be lowest within the 150 KM radius for a permitted transfer station or landfill site.

Since opening the GR Green Center has diverted almost 13,000 Metric ton of construction materials out of the City of Yorkton Landfill. These materials that are brought in to be recycled are sorted on site. Once the materials have been properly sorted, they are then processed. We also have recycled products available on site for resale.
